The Sagittarian is the maverick of the Zodiac and also one of the more platonic souls in the entire horoscope. The mind, culture and intellectual pursuits just may be more important to this sign who is not as easily impressed by money or looks as the other signs. A Sagittarian is also very capable of getting along while alone and cherishes independence - a trait that many other signs of the Zodiac find quite threatening. Couple this with the Sagittarius stubbornness and impulsivity and you create an astrological destiny that might be filled with multiple marriages and relationships.

Sagittarius and Aries

This Zodiac pairing makes better friends then lovers. They make great traveling companions and as business partners they can conquer the world. Both signs are great at following through on ideas so once they are paired up they can become a power couple. They are also bonded by a mutual love of athletics, reading, pets and children. However the Aries may find the Sagittarius difficult to conquer sexually.

Sagittarius and Taurus

The Archer is usually bored by the plodding ways of the domestic bull while the Bull is dazzled by the worldly and sophisticated ways of the Archer. Usually the Bull ends up getting hurt when the Sagittarius puts his or her friends or career first. The Archer also cannot really handle the dark moods of the bull. This is also not the best match sexually for two signs.

Sagittarius and Gemini

These two make a great couple. They both love theater, literature, myth, magic and travel. They would thrive traveling the world and experiencing different cultures together. These two are a great sexual and intellectual match. This pairing often ends up in a friendship that lasts for life. Both can be very loyal if they find the right person so marriages tend to thrive as well.

Sagittarius and Cancer

At first the two signs seem perfect for each other as the Cancer provides a sense of having a home base the Sagittarius makes the Cancer feel special and adventurous. However both signs have very high expectations of a partner that are not easily met and both signs tend to take disappointment very personally. Sex will be intense but marriages don't seem to last that long. If this relationship ends it usually ends badly.

Sagittarius and Leo

Both of these signs love adventure, athletics and flirting, which makes them very compatible. They understand that each needs a lot of space in order to operate successfully socially and professionally. The sex is not that great however they often marry simply because they work together so well. The biggest threat to the relationship is infidelity if the Leo is left alone or feels ignored.

Sagittarius and Virgo

These two signs truly understand each other. A professional relationship works best as both have an incredible ability to absorb and analyze information. The Sagittarius is fantastic for coming up with ideas and the Virgo is fantastic at carrying them out. If these two do marry then they will take a lot of vacations as both enjoy traveling a lot. As business partners they can make a lot of money.

Sagittarius and Libra

Both of these signs have a lot in common because both like to travel and treasure their social life. However the Sagittarius may be a little put off by the famous Libran indecisiveness and the Libran could feel pushed around by the always-decisive Sagittarius. This can cause ego struggles and conflicts about commitment. These two make better friends then lovers, as an agreement about commitment is often hard to arrive to.

Sagittarius and Scorpio

This is a relationship that can feel like it was made in hell. These two will never see eye to eye. The Scorpio may perceive the Sagittarius as being demented and the Sagittarius may view the Scorpio as being too authoritative. Both signs will see the other as too selfish. These two don't tend to get along that great unless the relationship is a one-night stand or a long distance one.

Sagittarius and Sagittarius

This is a beautiful couple, as long as they don't become too competitive with each other. They have everything in common including an equal interest in both sex and in being the best of friends. A very happy marriage is possible for these two who often attract many friends because they give off such a happy vibe.

Sagittarius and Capricorn

There may be a superficial bond between these two signs but basically they are incompatible. The Archer loves travel and is a free spirit. The Capricorn loves security and respectability. However these two are equal intellectually and often share a common passion for culture that can sometimes result in a friendship that turns to love.

Sagittarius and Aquarius

A relationship between these two works best if both are on the road or if one is from a foreign country. Otherwise it degenerates into a flaky connection that is unreliable and based on delusions. Although the feelings these two have for each other are always sincere and the appreciation that they have for each other is genuine it may be hard to ground the relationship in a way that makes it last.

Sagittarius and Pisces

These two share intellectual and cultural interests but the Sagittarian wit and sarcasm may be too sharp for the sensitive Pisces. The Pisces may also become jealous of the Sagittarian's ability to make friends more of a priority than lovers. These two are not that compatible sexually and make better friends then long-term marriage partners.
