Astrological Compatibility for Aries

In this article we are going to start the first in a series where we look at the compatibility for each sign with all of the other signs.

Aries and Aries

This is destined to be a very passionate relationship that is underlined with an intense sexual attraction. Chances are these two met in some kind of competitive atmosphere like at a tennis match or at a poker game tournament and that this athletic or performance oriented energy carries over into the bedroom. If they put their heads together, two Rams together could make a fortune and be a pair of great manipulators and schemers when it comes to making money. However if they end up butting heads the ending is often sudden, violent and not very friendly afterwards. Another cardinal sin would be for one of the Rams to ignore the other as this could provoke all kinds of suspicion.

Aries and Taurus

These two signs make better neighbors than lovers. They are capable of having great fun together and make the ultimate clubbing or party companions. However when things get too serious or if the two of them are faced with a situation in which there is some kind of deprivation then a battle of egos that rivals World War III will explode. This is because both signs are exceedingly stubborn. This combination is good for long-term friendships but not really a marriage.

Aries and Gemini

These two excite each other but the Gemini may feel smothered, burnt out or pushed around by the Aries. The Aries may also be somewhat threatened by the free spirited, independent nature of the Gemini who may seem too scattered. Creatively these two get along famously and they can make great business partners as the Aries often serves to keep the Gemini in line. If this does become an affair it is usually a flame that burns high and hot and then burns out quickly.

Aries and Cancer

The Cancer native is usually too sensitive to be around a brusque and business like Aries for too long. The Cancer may even find the Aries partner to be uncommunicative. The Aries individual will probably see the Cancer person as being a drag and always putting a damper on things. Both will see the other partner as being too selfish to stand to be with. Nothing more than a one-night stand usually arises from this combination of signs.

Aries and Leo

Sexually these two signs really do create big fireworks, especially in bed but the downside is that sooner or later one or the other feels burnt or burnt out by the relationship. Usually the Aries individual asserts too much independence for the Leo individual who has a need to be the center of the universe. The Aries often ends up leaving thinking that they have better things to do all day then cater to the Leo ego.

Aries and Virgo

The great thing about these two signs together is that they are both very loyal so they can produce a genuinely loving and long lasting marriage that is powerful both sexually and in terms of just being a good friendship. These two signs are also intellectually compatible. The only danger is if the Aries individual acts immature or starts to play head games with the Virgo who is a bit too serious for that kind of thing.

Aries and Libra

Most Libra individuals just find Aries types to be out of balance, brusque and unfair. They simply move too fast for these simple souls who like a fun time, balance and beauty. Aries on the other hand may be absolutely dazzled by the beauty of a Libra and become obsessed with him or her in some way. These relationships are usually pretty intense and compulsive with a bit of a catastrophic bent to them.

Aries and Scorpio

This could be a case of opposite personalities attracting partners that fill a lack in the self. These two intense fire and water signs together could end up loving each other and getting married or hating each other and never speaking to each other ever again. In the meantime the sex is probably really great, especially the type of make up sex that is had after a big fight. There will always be friction with a Ram and Scorpion together; both the pleasant and unpleasant kinds. If they do end up as enemies the feud usually lasts forever.

Aries and Sagittarius

These two make better friends then lovers. They are likely to meet on vacation or during a trip and as a couple make great traveling companions. They are also bonded by a mutual love of athletics, reading, pets and children. Whether they end up as friends or lovers these two also end up being commented on as "looking good together" or as if they should be together.

Aries and Capricorn

The Capricorn person will not be that fascinated with the Aries unless he or she has a lot of money. Also the Capricorn may feel smothered or bothered by the Aries occasional bouts of paranoia or jealousy. A Capricorn is not expressive enough for an Aries and many of these relationships end up being catastrophic affairs or unusual "muse-artist" type flings.

Aries and Aquarius

Both parties need a big sense of humor if this relationship is going to work. These signs trigger the "flake" in each other and it may be difficult to define the boundaries of the relationship or control episodes of infidelity. Career and distance may also serve to cosmically separate these two. They make better friends and creative partners then lovers.

Aries and Pisces

The self-serious Pisces seems ridiculous to the outward looking Aries so these two signs are not a great match. Sometimes there is a bit of "fire and water" type chemistry that causes opposites to attract but generally Aries and Pisces just get on each otherÕs nerves. The Pisces will never get the attention he or she craves from the Aries and the Aries will feel the same as the Piscine sign focuses only on his or her needs.
